Already relegated to 13th on the starting grid for the United States Grand Prix due to a broken suspension during testing, Max Verstappen received a five-place penalty Sunday morning in Austin, Texas. The Dutchman actually changed gearboxes during the night from Saturday to Sunday, which is not allowed in the regulations.
Max Verstappen will therefore start 18th at 20 p.m. French time.
