Verstappen too confident according to Jochen Mass

Jochen Mass indicated on T-Online that he believed that Max Verstappen was overconfident as the Red Bull driver quickly became one of the most well-known drivers in the paddock F1 notably winning in his first race with Red Bull Racing when he replaced Daniil Kvyat during the 2016 Spanish GP.

“Verstappen is too confident. I think this is explained by the media interest which arose very quickly. He received praise after his victory in Barcelona which he achieved with great luck. Now miracles are expected from him. It is certain that Max is a talented boy, but we will only see his true level in the future”, commented the former pilot McLaren.
