We had to wait until the final moments of this Q3 to see the starting grid for this Chinese GP take shape. As in Q2, Sebastian Vettel only had one lap to complete a time... and it was the right one! The pilot Red Bull signs the second pole position of his career ahead of Fernando Alonso, which made the most of the developments made on its R29. Just behind, Mark Webber allows Renault to place three of its engines in the first three places! Rubens Barrichelo is the best representative of Brawn GP, while Button is “only” 5th.
