Sebastian Vettel (Red Bull), on Sunday, lost all hope of winning the Hungarian Grand Prix by leaving too big a gap between his car and that of Mark Webber when the safety car returned to the pits. Red Bull claims that the driver acted of his own free will and was not asked to perform this maneuver. “ Unfortunately, Seb backed away and found himself too far away, for whatever reason? but I can affirm that he was not given any instructions to back down », Explains Christian Horner, team principal of Red Bull Racing, to the BBC.
