VIDEO – Max Verstappen presents his new helmet

Here he is the world champion. Freshly sacred, Max Verstappen made his first public appearance with his new helmet. The Dutchman presented it to his fans this Thursday. As planned and announced by the pilot himself, the helmet bears the No. 1, a number reserved for the champion and which we had not seen since Sebastian Vettel in 2014, Lewis Hamilton preferring to wear No. 44.

In terms of style, the design of the helmet does not change. The lion is always placed on top while the motifs of Red Bull appear on the sides. No. 1 is placed at the back. Concerning the color, Max Verstappen stayed faithful to white and added golden touches to celebrate his first world champion title. Small detail, the Batavian added a star to the back of the helmet representing his coronation.
