The Saudi Arabian Grand Prix ended in general confusion. A penalty served at the start of the race for Fernando Alonso for poor placement on the grid, George Russell's engineer informed everyone that the Spaniard was still under investigation by the commissioners... The driver was then asked Mercedes to get as close as possible to Alonso who, after celebrating on the podium with Max Verstappen and Sergio Pérez, was penalized by 10 seconds. Russell even had time to tweet his podium well after the checkered flag before the FIA reversed its decision, thus leaving the Bull of Asturias with his 100th podium.
Endless back and forths which ended up confirming the ranking of the third edition of the Jeddah event, several hours after the double world champion's initial penalty. But the trophy stayed in Brackley!
Fortunately, these are not only 14 minutes drive which separate the Mercedes house from the Silverstone garage:

Aston Martin can therefore place its second trophy in two Grands Prix in a cupboard that is currently small, but which could quickly fill up given the performance of the AMR23.
