VIDEO – Bus enters circuit, causes red flag at Bahrain test

After a power outage on Wednesday afternoon and a broken window late in the morning, a new unusual reason caused a red flag in Sakhir… A bus burst into the braking zone of turn 10, a downhill bend. The scene is surprising, especially during a test session of Formula 1 where safety is paramount on and around the track…

The vehicle was quickly evacuated, although it is not yet known what it was doing here, so close to the single-seaters. The session resumed quickly and Pierre Gasly set the best time, before further improving his own time. The driver Alpine is – at the time of writing – the fastest of the day. For the rest, the afternoon drivers all took to the track, even Lance stroll, sick.

The Canadian was due to race in the morning, but due to his health, the Silverstone team reversed the order of its two drivers, sending Fernando Alonso ride in the morning.
