Jacques Villeneuve has almost achieved his goal, that of regaining a place in Formula 1. The Canadian, very vocal in recent weeks about his desire to return to the premier single-seater category, has remained silent since discussing the terms of his contract with Zoran Stefanovic, boss of Stefan GP. The 1997 world champion should even go to Cologne, to the factory bought by Stefan GP in Toyota, at the start of the week, to have his seat molded. Only one element is missing for Jacques Villeneuve's hopes to come true: that the FIA authorizes Stefan GP to take part in the world championship.
