Behind the Safety Car, Jenson Button (Brawn) occupies first place in the standings ahead of Sebastian Vettel (Red Bull), Felipe Massa (Ferrari), Robert Kubica (BMW), Kimi Raïkkonen (Ferrari), Nico Rosberg (Williams), Nelson Piquet (Renault) et Jarno Trulli (Toyota).
