Most drivers F1 have expressed their dissatisfaction following the adoption of the new FIA rules last Tuesday. Conversely, Mark Webber believes that the decision to favor the winner of the greatest number of races in the Drivers' championship could prove to be very beneficial for the competition.

Indeed, during an interview on the BBC, Mark Webber spoke in favor of the new regulations: "If a driver finds himself second, he will do everything to overtake the first because from now on all that matters is the victory. These changes will affect the key moments of the race, everyone will try to win the Grand Prix. The fights for first place will only be more exciting, more aggressive.”

Webber says he doesn't understand the "aggressive reaction" of his colleagues. Indeed, Fernando Alonso, Jarno Trulli and Nick Heidfeld in particular, have already shown their reluctance against these modifications.
