There is still very little activity on the Silverstone circuit during the first free practice session for the British Grand Prix. Mark Webber (Red Bull) still approaches the 10 laps completed, and has the best time, in 1:33??905.
Michael Schumacher (Mercedes), while testing the grip limits of the new portion of the circuit, made a short exit into the run-off zone, before returning to the track without problem.
