According to Japan Meteorological Agency, a typhoon, called Hagibis, is currently heading towards the Asian archipelago and could hit the Japanese shores as early as October 12, the day of Grand Prix qualifying F1 contested at Suzuka.
The intensity of the phenomenon is categorized as “very strong”, and could therefore disrupt the progress of the Japanese weekend.
