Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al-Thani on Thursday became the first Qatari to pilot a Formula 1. “His Highness” boarded the Williams FW31, which he was able to drive on the Losail circuit, in Qatar. Williams had recently expressed its desire to establish itself in Qatar, by developing a technical and technological center.
