The 77th edition of the Spa 24 Hours, from June 25th to 29th, promises to be more competitive than ever. Indeed, for the first time at the event, no fewer than ten manufacturers are entered in the top class, GT3. In total, no fewer than 77 cars will do battle in the Belgian Ardennes.
Among them, there will be twelve Mercedes-AMG GT3, operated by seven customer teams. Four of them, entered in the PRO class, will be aiming for overall victory. This is the case for the No. 00 of GoodSmile Racing. At the wheel will be three Japanese, Tatsuya Kataoka, Nobuteru Taniguchi and a certain Kamui Kobayashi.
The No. 9 car from the Boutsen VDS team will also be in the field. It will be driven by German Maximilian Götz, Canadian Mikaël Grenier, and local Maxime Martin. The No. 17 car from Team GetSpeed will also be in the field. Frenchman Jules Gounon will be at the wheel. A Mercedes-AMG factory driver since 2021, he has been racing under the Andorran banner since 2023.

Finally, the fourth GT3 entered in the PRO category at the 24 Hours of Spa is the number 48 of the MANN-FILTER team. The other cars will be present in the Pro-AM (1), Gold (2), Silver (3) and Bronze (2) categories.
“For me, it’s more than just a race: it’s a home race, with a great family tradition. My father, my uncle and I are proud to be included on the Wall of Fame.”, says Maxime Martin, quoted in a press release. We also hold the record for the most family victories. My father won the race four times, my uncle twice, and I once.
“This is my 19th participation in the Spa 24 Hours, having been on the grid for 18 consecutive years. Being able to compete under the AMG banner means a lot to me. I am fully motivated to add more victories to my family’s list of achievements.”, concludes the Belgian pilot.
