Optimum Motorsport will pay tribute to McLaren during the next 24 Hours of Spa (June 29 – July 2). The British team will be adorned with a special livery for the Walloon event, to celebrate the 60 years of existence of the brand created by Bruce McLaren in 1963. The McLaren 720S GT3 will sport a “Zebra Red” and silver livery, in reference to McLaren's last title in Formula 1, won in 2008 with Lewis Hamilton.

Tom Gamble will join the trio Sam de Haan – Charlie Fagg – Dean Macdonald for the 24 Hours of Spa, as well as for the Prologue which will take place on May 23 and 24. Optimum Motorsport will seek victory in the Gold Cup, on the same circuit that saw Bruce McLaren win for the first time in Formula 1 aboard his own machine, in 1968.
