Alpine Cup Series – Nogaro, Race 2: Double win for Jousset

• Léo Jousset untouchable in Nogaro. The day after his victory in Race 1 in the rain, the Angevin achieved his second consecutive success on this Easter Monday, on the Paul Armagnac circuit, during Race 2. On a dry track, and under a timid sun, the driver of theAlpine No. 4 led the race from start to finish: starting from pole position, Léo Jousset resisted attacks from Tom Verdier and Romain Monti on the first lap, before escaping in the lead and securing his second victory in as many races.
• The day's winner only needed to deal with one Safety Car restart, on the last lap of the race after Paul Alberto's spin (Alpine No. 111), but the Race Cars Consulting driver perfectly contained his closest rivals. The podium of this Race 2 was completed by Romain Monti (Alpine No. 10) and Tom Verdier (Alpine No. 8), who lost his second place in the first lap to the driver-videographer. The Chazel Technologie Course driver can nevertheless be satisfied with the victory in the Challenger category.
• In other categories, Mathias Cazaux (Alpine n°88) won in the Junior class, resisting Lazare Lartigau (Alpine n°38) at the end of the race, while Paul Paranthoen (Alpine No. 3) won the victory in the Gentleman category.
