The Front Row Motorsport team has announced its second driver for the 2021 season of Nascar. Michael McDowell will be joined by Anthony Alfredo.

The 21-year-old driver is moving up from the Xfinity Series, where he earned two top-5 finishes last season with Richard Childress Racing.

He will be a candidate for the title of Rookie of the year. Nicknamed “Fast Pasta,” Alfredo replaces John Hunter Nemechnek in the No. 38 Ford. “It’s incredible,” commented Alfredo. “When you start karting as a child, you dream of reaching the highest level of motorsport. I am aware of the challenge ahead of me, but I am here to work hard and prove my worth. »

A third car will appear at the Daytona 500 on February 14. It will be entrusted to veteran David Ragan, 35, who has two Nascar victories to his credit.
