Brett Moffitt (Hattori Racing Enterprises – Toyota) a décroché le titre 2018 en Truck Series hier soir sur l’ovale de Miami-Homestead, en remportant la finale floridienne de la troisième division de la Nascar.
Moffitt was competing in his first race in a truck on a 1,5 mile oval and led 59 of the 134 laps of the race to beat Grant Enfinger (ThorSport Racing – Ford) and especially Noah Gragson (Kyle Busch Motorsports – Toyota) at the end of the race. ), his first rival for the title among the four finalists who also included Justin Haley and Johnny Sauter (GMS Racing – Chevrolet).
The latter could not do better than 8th and 12th last night in Miami, without being able to prevent Moffitt from winning his first major career title.
