The current rookie in Nascar Cup Series, Christopher Bell remplacera Erik Jones chez Joe Gibbs Racing (Toyota) en 2021. Erik Jones quitte cette écurie après avoir remporté deux victoires pour cette écurie entre 2018 et 2020.
Christopher Bell, who says he is delighted with his transfer, had already competed in two seasons in Xfinity for his future team from 2018 to 2019. He had won 15 races. This season he currently sits in 19th place overall. His best result was a 4th place obtained in the first of two rounds at Pocono.
