Trackhouse Racing announced this Thursday, April 3 that Connor Zilisch, 18, will make his second career start in NASCAR Cup Series driving the Red Bull Chevrolet No. 87 during the Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway on May 25.

Zilisch, a Trackhouse Racing development driver, races full-time in the Xfinity Series for JR Motorsports. He earned his first Xfinity Series victory of the season at Circuit of the Americas (COTA) in Austin, Texas, on March 1. A day later, the Mooresville, North Carolina, native made his first career Cup Series start in the No. 87 Red Bull Chevrolet. Zilisch was performing well until he was involved in a crash just past the halfway point of the event. Most recently, Zilisch earned his second pole position of the 2025 Xfinity Series season on March 28 at Martinsville Speedway.
