La Nascar is mourned by the death of Walter Maynard “Bud” Moore on Monday, November 27. Aged 92, this former World War II veteran was the owner of the Bud Moore Engineering team that operated from the early 1960s to 1999. He raced there for big names in the discipline such as Bobby Allison and Dale Earnhardt Sr.
