Ted Christopher, 2008 champion of the Nascar Whelen Tour Modified, died at the age of 59 in a plane crash that occurred this Saturday in Guilford, Connecticut. The American showed himself at the highest level of Nascar by starting ten races in the Cup Series between 1999 and 2006. He also recorded two top tens in the Xfinity Series and another in the Truck Series.
