For the 100th race of the FFSAGT, Éric Trémoulet and Olivier Jouffret gave their team victory in the second race of the weekend in Dijon. Already partners in 2017, the two drivers won through experience, while the Ginetta team seemed at one point to be the best placed to win this Sunday.

Leading after making the only stop of the race, the Ginetta n°10 and n°18 had in fact benefited from a first racing incident that occurred earlier. Olivier Jouffret, attempting to enter the pit lane, was initially hampered by the Toyota No. 17. Losing valuable time before the driver change, crew No. 64 came out in third position.

While leading the race, Ethan Gialdini also had some bad luck. With a lead of more than four seconds over the second-place finisher, the French driver lost a wheel on the straight, forcing him to retire immediately. In a battle with Éric Trémoulet, Nicolas Ciamin was unable to hold onto the lead, before being overtaken by three other cars later.

Lacking success on Saturday, theAlpine No. 36 and Gaspard Simon and Pascal Huteau finished second, while Nelson Panciatici and Rodolphe Wallgren completed the podium aboard No. 111. Winner of the first race, the Russian crew aboard theAston Martin No. 7 finished this event just outside the top 3. In the Am category, the CMR team of Stéphane Lemeret and Stéphane Auriacombe finished in first position, seventh overall.

The next meeting is scheduled for the weekend of June 20-22 at the Spa-Francorchamps circuit.
