The first GT World Challenge America meeting at Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas saw the No. 3 Racer Edge Motorsports Acura NSX GT93 Evo of Shelby Blackstock and Trent Hindman dominate both races of the weekend .
Inscrits en catégorie Silver, le duo a devancé en course 1 Jeroen Bleekemolen et James Sofronas (Porsche 911 GT3 R n°14 – GMG Racing), vainqueurs en Pro-Am, et Colin Braun – George Kurtz (Mercedes-AMG GT3 n°4 – DXDT).
Bis repeated the next day, with a new success for the Blackstock – Hindman pair from pole, this time ahead of Martin Fuentes and Rodrigo Baptista (Ferrari 488 GT3 n°1 – R. Ferri Motorsports), winners in Pro-Am. The podium is once again completed by the Braun – Kurtz crew.
