Regular host of Blancpain GT Series events in recent years, notably at Grasser Racing Team and Team WRT, the Argentinian Ezequiel Perez Companc will take advantage of the 2020 GT World Challenge to launch its Madpanda Motorsport team.
The structure will be based near the Barcelona circuit in Catalonia, with the support of QEV Tech, with solid experience in GT, tourism and Formula E.
A Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo will be used for all ten rounds on the program (Sprint and Endurance), with Perez Companc confirmed as first driver in addition to his duties as Team Principal. The German GT3 will be entered in the Silver Cup category, with Madpanda Motorsport still looking for a Silver driver for the Sprint events and two for the Endurance races.
