Ancien pensionnaire de Hyundai Motorsport in the World Rally Championship WRC, New Zealander Hayden Paddon shone last weekend in TCR New Zealand.
The Kiwi won the third and final race of the meeting at Cromwell's Highlands Motorsport Park, at the wheel of a Hyundai i30 N TCR, an event which saw the coronation of Chris van der Drift (Audi RS 3 LMS TCR), winner of the first two confrontations on the track.
Victim of a technical problem which prevented him from starting from pole in race 1, Paddon took 4th place in race 2, before dominating the field in the final round of the weekend, beating Jaden Ransley ( Hyundai i30 N TCR) on the finish line.
