Like all other participating countries, Hong Kong has revealed its crew and partner for the FIA Motorsport Games, which will be held from October 29 to 31 at the Paul-Ricard circuit. KCMG founder Paul Ip and Team Hong Kong captain Marchy Lee Ying-Kin will compete in the GT Cup driving the No. 25 Honda NSX. The program includes a 40-minute qualifying session, two 60-minute qualifying races and the one-hour final race. The duo competed in the Campionato Italiano GT Sprint Championship finale in Italy last weekend, taking GT3-Am victory in Race 1 and second place in Race 2 at Mugello.
Ying-Kin will also compete in the GT Sprint Cup, with a 20-minute qualifying and a one-hour race, which will be the final event of the weekend. KCMG will also provide support in Touring Car, with Andy Cheuk Wai Yan in the No. 7 Honda Civic Type R FK3.
“It is an honor to once again represent Hong Kong at the FIA Motorsport Games with Marchy [Lee Ying-Kin] and for KCMG in three categories, said Paul Ip, founder of KCMG. We have prepared hard for this event and put in a strong performance at Mugello last weekend to be ready for the challenge. I am excited to take on Circuit Paul Ricard, both as a competitor and as a Formula 4 constructor, and I hope we can put in some positive performances. »
