Imola – Pre-qualifying for the #88 Mercedes

Pre-qualifying for the opening round of GT World Challenge Europe, held this weekend at Imola, was dominated by the Mercedes. The No. 88 of Raffaelle Marciello, Daniel Juncadella and Jules Gounon beat the No. 2 of Maro Engel, Steijn Schothorst and Luca Stolz. The #25 Sainteloc Junior Team Audi completed the podium this session with Lucas Legeret, Patric Niederhauser and Christopher Mies.

The No. 46 of Team WRT where we find Valentino Rossi alongside Frédéric Vervisch and Nico Müller took fifteenth place, half a second behind the best time. If qualifying this Sunday morning cannot take place, it is this classification which will be taken into account for the starting grid for the event.
