Winner last Sunday at Talladega, Brad Keselowski will have the joy of starting from pole this weekend at Kansas.
This is the first time this season that the Team Penske resident will lead the peloton. In Kansas this Sunday, Brad Keselowski will start ahead of William Byron (Hendrick Motorsports) and Michael McDowell (Front Row Motorsport), winner of the 500 Daytona 2021.
Cup Series leader Denny Hamlin (Joe Gibbs Racing) is only 20th on the grid. This position is due to his poor race last Sunday at Talladega. Involved in an accident then doubly penalized, the Floridian finished at the back of the peloton.
