Matt Kenseth has been confirmed for ten additional races with Roush Fenway Racing this season. The 2003 champion was already scheduled to replace Trevor Bayne in the No. 6 Ford at Kentucky (July 14), New Hampshire (July 22), Pocono (July 29) and Watkins Glen (August 5).
He will also return to Darlington (September 2), Indianapolis (September 9), Dover (October 7), Martinsville (October 28), Phoenix (November 11) and the season finale played at Homestead-Miami (November 18). The former Joe Gibbs Racing resident is in 36th place in the Championship and will need to secure a victory to hope to compete in the play-offs.
