On the sidelines of the 24 Hours of Spa, SRO held its traditional press conference. During this, it was discussed the Intercontinental GT Challenge. Stéphane Ratel notably indicated that the final of theIGTC 2022 will not take place in Kyalami in South Africa in December as initially planned but in Abu Dhabi with the 12 Hours of the Gulf (December 11).
Additionally, SRO confirmed the 2023 IGTC schedule. The campaign will begin with the Bathurst 12 Hours (February 4-5) before the big return of the Kyalami 9 Hours (February 24-25). A flagship monument of the discipline, the 24 Hours of Spa will take place on the last weekend of July (28-30) before the last two rounds of the season, the 8 Hours of Indianapolis (October 8-9) and the 12 Hours. of Gulf whose date is still to be determined.
