Less than a month after making public the new driver categorization for 2023, the FIA has made some adjustments. After this update, several pilots were either demoted or denied the upgrade.

The most notable cases are those of the two Iron Dames, Sarah Bovy and Michelle Gatting. The Belgian was supposed to move to Silver status, but according to the latest version published this Sunday, she will remain in Bronze status. The Dane is deprived of a move to Gold rank. Let us point out, however, that the categorization of the two Iron Dames is still provisional, and that they could find promotion to the higher rank by the end of the year.
