While the new aero packages of the Nascar Sprint Cup will be tested in competition in Indianapolis (July 26) and Michigan (August 16), a spokesperson for the discipline confirmed on Fox Sports that the qualifying format adopted will be that in force on “superspeedways”. “Drafting” will therefore be prohibited in order to avoid a pile-up.
