From the frozen lakes of Finland to the woods of Belgium, in 2023, the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series will celebrate the 75th anniversary of the National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing. The European series will feature six meetings, for a total of 24 championship races – with Germany back on the calendar – and two non-championship All-Star events.

2022 marked a year of growth for the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series, with record numbers across the board: competitors on the grid – 30 or more cars entered in all events – on-track spectators and fans watching live and interacting on social networks.

Celebrating the 75th anniversary of motorsports' most famous organization, a NASCAR Cup Series car will compete in the 24 Hours of Le Mans for the first time in 47 years with the Garage 56 program.

“2023 will be a memorable season for NASCAR in Europe! A season that makes history, starting with the first ever NASCAR race on ice and continuing through incredible events across Europe, explained the president and CEO of NWES, Jérome Galpin. I want to thank our great partners at Valencia Circuit, Brands Hatch, Vallelunga, Most, Oschersleben, Zolder and Grobnik for all their enthusiasm and continued efforts to build incredible American events that delight more and more racing fans. We are also very excited to be part of the incredible NASCAR Garage 56 program which is sure to catch the eyes of millions of fans at Le Mans, Brands Hatch and Goodwood! »

For the first time in their history, NASCAR cars will run on the ice, in Rovaniemi (Finland), on March 4 and 5, 2023. This will be followed by rounds in Valencia (Spain, May 5-6), Brands Hatch ( Great Britain, June 17-18), Vallelunga (Italy, July 8-9), Most (Czech Republic, September 2-3), Oschersleben (Germany, September 23-24) then Zolder (Belgium, October 14-15) . This last meeting will award double points. Finally, an all-star race in Grobnik (Croatia) is also planned on undefined dates.
