The 2022 GT World Challenge Asia season will incorporate “a championship within a championship dedicated to Japanese teams and drivers”, indicates SRO. The points for this classification, entitled Japan Cup, will be awarded at four of the six events on next season's calendar, including Suzuka and Fuji, with the other two dates on Japanese circuits still to be designated. This new competition will be open to Pro-Am and Am crews driving GT2, GT3, GT4 and GTC (Lamborghini Huracan Super Trofeo, Ferrari 488 Challenge, Porsche Carrera Cup), provided you have a license from the Japan Automobile Federation.
