The regulations for the 2018 season of the Nascar Cup Series will be stricter in terms of engine life.
In order to limit costs, the teams will have to select 13 races in which they will have to use an engine that has already been used in a race. The different parts such as pistons, connecting rods, camshafts, etc. will be sealed. If a team is obliged to change its engine, the car concerned will have to start from the back of the grid.
On the other hand, the aerodynamics of the Nascar Cup Series cars will not change significantly unlike previous seasons.
