The officials of the Nascar have decided to modify the regulations concerning the Cup Series. Cars unable to participate in qualifying will have to start the race with a set of tires used during practice.
This change was made to prevent drivers starting from the back of the peloton from having an advantage by having new tires compared to competitors having to start with the tires used in qualifying.
