Already package for Brands Hatch last weekend, Jack Aitken has not yet sufficiently recovered from his various injuries (a broken collarbone, a fractured vertebra and a pulmonary contusion) caused by his accident at the 24 Hours of Spa (July 31-August 1) with Emil Frey Racing. To compensate for his absence, the Swiss team called on Arthur Rougier for the English race. For the penultimate race of the season at the Nürburgring, the Italian Luca Ghiotto (26 years old) will sit behind the wheel of the No. 3 Lamborghini Huracan GT114 Evo in addition to the Frenchman and the Finnish Konsta Lappalainen.

Luca Ghiotto is currently part of the Lamborghini GT3 Junior program and therefore already has some experience with the car. Like many other drivers, Ghiotto's career began in karting, before moving on to the races car, where he won the Formula Renault 2.0 Alps Cup in 2013. He also took second place in the Italian Formula Abarth championship in 2021. Formula 2 for 5 years, the Transalpin finished second in the GP3 championship in 2015.
