The 12 Bathurst 2023 Hours (February 3-5) will be held without Lucas Auer. Waited in the Mercedes-AMG GT3 No. 77 from Team Craft-Bamboo, the Australian will not be able to participate in the Mount Panorama clock lap due to a back injury suffered during free practice on the sidelines of the 24 Hours of Daytona last week.

In Florida, Lucas Auer was replaced by Daniel Morad at Winward Racing. This time, it will be by Philip Ellis. The Swiss will therefore support Daniel Juncadella and Nicky Catsburg. A crew that has only one goal in mind: victory.

Lucas Auer, for his part, continues his rehabilitation in the United States where he underwent surgery after his accident. “ Guys, thank you so much for all the love and messages, he wrote on his social networks. My operation went very well and I am doing well. A big thank you also to the incredible medical team who took great care of me. I'm ready for the next steps in rehabilitation and look forward to seeing you all on the track soon »
