Thus, this second round at Magny-Cours ended with an exceptional duel between the crew of the 2 (CTF Continental Racing) and the drivers of the 80 (62TM 3). After a few muscular but sportingly correct exchanges, François Coué crossed the line as the winner with a lead of only 62 seconds over Matteo Merafina. A tiny gap in a seven-hour endurance race.
Already thrilling and full of twists and turns throughout the 4-hour race scheduled for Saturday, the Lamera Cup proved to be even more spectacular this Sunday round.
In the end, it was the 80 that won by a handful of tenths ahead of the 62. Another feat: the Lamera 5, entered in the Pro-Am category, not only took the class victory but also finished 3rd overall. A five-star performance since two of the drivers had, before this weekend, only very limited experience in motor racing. As for the Gentlemen's category, it went to the Lamera 3 in Triangle Est colors. It climbed to a very encouraging 13th place.
