La Nascar presented the lines of the regulations for the 2015 season. Among the measures on the agenda, the main one concerns the reduction in power from 850 to 725hp. Team trials will be prohibited in all three categories. The rear spoiler of the cars will be reduced. The engine speed will also be limited to 9000 rpm. The weight of the cars will be reduced by 50 pounds (22,73kg) to 3250 pounds (1477,27kg). In addition, the qualifying format will be identical on all types of circuits with three qualifying heats. The organizers will leave it to Goodyear to develop rain tires for road circuit races.
