Carl Edwards (Roush Fenway Racing) claimed his 22nd victory last night after a Bristol race, delayed and then interrupted for a long time by rain. Edwards finished ahead of his Roush teammate Ricky Stenhouse Jr. who achieved his best result in the Sprint Cup Series. Aric Almirola (Richard Petty) completes the podium for a hat-trick for Ford engines. Next for the top 10 is Tony Stewart (Stewart-Haas), Marcos Ambrose (Richard Petty), Denny Hamlin (Joe Gibbs), Jeff Gordon (Hendrick), Kasey Kahne (Hendrick), Brian Vickers (Michael Waltrip), Kyle Larson (Ganassi).
With his 24th place, Dale Earnhardt Jr. (Hendrick) lost his place as overall leader to Brad Keselowski (Penske) 14th yesterday in Bristol.
