La Nascar is in mourning after the death of Betty Jane France, wife of William C. France, former president and general manager of the American series who died in 2007, and mother of Brian France, current senior manager of Nascar.
Betty Jane France held the position of executive vice-president of the championships across the Atlantic, but was particularly known for her commitment to the Nascar Foundation of which she remained president and whose primary goal was to improve the lives of young children.
