Jeff Gordon (Hendrick Motorsports) won his second pole of the season at Michigan International Speedway by setting the new track record with a time of 34. Joey Logano (Team Penske) is the closest, three hundredths behind. Carl Edwards (Roush Fenway Racing) and Brian Vickers (Michael Waltrip Racing) are on the second row ahead of Brad Keselowski (Team Penske).
