Jeff Gordon (Hendrick Motorsports) takes his third victory of the season at Michigan International Speedway after winning his duel against Joey Logano (Team Penske) who ultimately finished third behind Kevin Harvick (Stewart-Haas Racing). This is the fourth consecutive time that the driver of the No. 4 Chevrolet has obtained this result on this oval. Paul Menard (Richard Childress Racing) and Dale Earnhardt Jr (Hendrick Motorsports) complete the top five.
