Kevin Harvick (Stewart-Haas Racing) won the Charlotte (North Carolina) race, second round of the 2014 Chase Contender Round in NASCAR Sprint Cup. The driver of the No. 4 Chevrolet SS dominated 162 of the 334 laps of the event to qualify for the Eliminator Round. Harvick is ahead on the line after a final restart two laps from the goal Jeff Gordon (Hendrick Motorsports), Jamie McMurray (Ganassi), Joey Logano (Team Penske) and pole sitter Kyle Busch (Joe Gibbs Racing).

We will also remember the post-race incidents between Brad Keselowski (Team Penske), Matt Kenseth (Joe Gibbs Racing), Denny Hamlin (Joe Gibbs Racing) and Tony Stewart (Stewart-Haas Racing), initiated by a first contact between Keselowski and Hamlin just after the finish, then through several touches in the pit lane.
