Kevin Harvick (Richard Childress Racing) dominated the Hollywood Casino 400 where he started from pole to secure his third victory of the season on the Kansas Speedway oval on which he had never won. Kurt Busch (Furniture Row Racing) made a superb comeback to take the points for second place ahead of Jeff Gordon (Hendrick Motorsports). Carl Edwards (Roush Fenway Racing) completes the top five after taking the lead from Jimmie Johnson (Hendrick Motorsports) on the final lap. Kyle Busch (Joe Gibbs Racing) is the big loser of the weekend after retiring in an accident. Matt Kenseth (Joe Gibbs Racing) maintains the lead in the Chase with three points ahead of Jimmie Johnson after finishing just outside the top ten.
