Kevin Harvick (Stewart-Haas Racing) won the Sprint Cup title by winning the Ford Ecoboost 400 at Miami-Homestead (Florida) by winning ahead of Ryan Newman (Richard Childress Racing), another Chaser still fighting for this final. Denny Hamlin (Joe Gibbs Racing) finished seventh. Joey Logano (Team Penske) is only 16th after encountering a problem in the pits.
