La Furniture Row Racing a reçu plusieurs sanctions à l’issue de la Folds of Honour Quiktrip 500 disputée le dimanche 28 février sur l’Atlanta Motor Speedway (Géorgie) où la Toyota n°78 a été identifiée avec un flap de toit non conforme.
Martin Truex Jr loses 15 points in the Championship while the No. 78 receives the same sanction in the Owners' standings. Crew chief Cole Pearn was fined $5000 (€4577) and will be suspended for this weekend's Las Vegas (Nevada) race and placed on probation until the end of the season. The team will appeal.
