Kurt Busch stood out during the qualifying session for the Duck Commander 500 in Texas. Pilot Stewart-Haas Racing took pole position at the wheel of his No. 41 Chevrolet and ahead of his teammate and reigning champion Kevin Harvick. Brad Keselowski (Team Penske – Ford) ranks third just ahead of the first Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolet of Kasey Kahne.
The first Toyota Camry, celle de Carl Edwards (Joe Gibbs Racing) n’apparait qu’en 16e position et emmène dans sa roue ses équipiers Matt Kenseth et Denny Hamlin.
